The officers of the Division for Combat Criminals of the Main Division for Combat Organized Crime, the Central Criminal Police Department of the MIA, as a result of operative and investigative activities detained in Tbilisi International Airport previously multiply convicted Teimuraz Ch. (D.o.B.: 1971) for being a thief in law.
The investigation established that Teimuraz Ch. lived in Russian Federation for several years and he was recognized in the criminal underworld as a thief in law. The accused was arrested at the airport by the law enforcers, when he arrived in Georgia by flight Odessa-Tbilisi.
The investigation is in progress on the fact of being a thief in law (part II of the article 2231 of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
