The officers of Khashuri regional Division of Shida Kartli Police Department of the MIA as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained in Gomi Elza M. (DoB: 1985) for illegal keeping and transportation of drugs while she was driving her vehicle from Rustavi in the direction of Khashuri.
During the search of a detainee’s handbag the law enforcers seized 14 ampoules of drug "morphine". Drug test revealed that the detainee is the abuser of opium. The detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal keeping and transportation of drugs (Article 260, I part of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
