The officers of the investigation-operative main division of the Border Police and State Security Service as a result of the jointly held operative-investigative activities detained 2 citizens of Somalia and 10 Georgian citizens for attempted illegal crossing of the state border perpetrated by the group. Investigation established that detainees attempted to cross the state border by avoiding to go through the official passport control procedures at the BCP. They attempted to cross the border to the direction of the Turkish Republic.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of attempted illegal crossing of the state border perpetrated by the group 19-344, II part, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code.
