The officers of Samtskhe-Javaketi, Adigeni, Akhaltsikhe and Borjomi regional division detained Lasha Kh (DoB 1991), Davit G (DoB 1961), Pavle Ch (DoB 1985), Besik E (DoB 1970), Giorgi M (DoB 1966), Mindia Ts (DoB 1981) and Vasil S (DoB 1973) as a result of jointly held investigative activities based on operative information for illegal usage of wood, violations of timber transportation and realization, and exposed to violation of timber processing facility directive requirements as well as illegal cutting of trees and plants. As a result of searching held in Besik E, Giorgi M and Mindia Ts vehicles, the law enforcers seized 6,5 cubic meters of wood material, whilst officers seized 5 meters long 43 pieces of log and 3 meters long 17 logs found in Pavle Ch and Lasha Kh owned vehicles. Vasil Kh was exposed to wood transportation rules violation, when he was illegally carrying 25 meters of wood planks. Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal usage of wood, timber processing, Violation of the Requirements for Transportation and Realization of Preprocessed timber, as well as violation of timber processing facility directive requirements.
