The officers of the investigative division of the Patrol Police Department have detained Giorgi J. (DoB 1993) as a person responsible for the car accident that took place on Rustaveli Avenue, Tbilisi.
Expertise result which was appointed within the frames of the ongoing investigation established that “Mercedes” made vehicle, which was driven by Giorgi J. moved into the opposite lane and crashed into “Opel” and “Mercedes” made vehicles moving to the opposite direction.as a result of the car accident passenger of “Opel” Sopo B. was killed and four people received injuries.
Patrol Police officers detained Giorgi J. on the basis of the court decision.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of Violation of Traffic Safety or Maintenance Rule which caused death of a person as well as less serious or serious damage to health, article 276, I, III and V parts of the Criminal Code.
