The officers of Kobuleti regional division of Ajara Regional Main Division as a result of investigative activities detained Lasha Sh. (DoB 1985) previously convicted Kakha K. (DoB 1990) and Ucha S. (DoB 1993) in Kobuleti for armed assault committed in group.
Investigation established that detainees covered faces in masks on April 19 and assaulted two Chinese citizens in their cottage, employed at the construction works of the Kobuleti-Batumi bypass road lcated in Ochkhamuri village. Under the pressure of the cold steel offenders appropriated 1600 Chinese yuan, 200 US dollars, mobile phone, personal computer and other domestic items.
As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities offenders were offenders were detained several days after the crime. Part of illegally appropriated sum -1600 Chinese yuan, domestic items, mobile phone, personal computer, weapon of crime and masks were seized by law enforcers as evidence. Investigation also established that offenders were employed at the same construction works as drivers.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of armed assault committed in group, article 179, Ii part, sub-paragraphs “A” and “B” of the Criminal Code.
