The officers of Ajara Regional Main Division as a result of operative-investigative activities detained two citizens of Georgia - temporal owner of hotel “Ana” Zorbeg D. (DoB 1966) and temporal owner of hotel “Star” Roman Ph. (DoB 1979) for providing lodging for prostitution. The police officers exposed to crime and charged 5 more citizens: temporal owners of hotel and disco-club “Legas”, citizens of Georgia Emzar M. (DoB 1970) and Emzar M. (DoB 1991) temporal owner of hotel “Elegant” Nina K. (DoB 1962) and temporal owners of Hotel “Efes”, citizens of Turkey Matin D. (DoB 1983) and Tamer I. (DoB 1983).
The investigation established, that the detainees and charged persons provided lodgings for prostitution in return for certain amount of cash in temporarily owned hotels and disco-clubs. Law-enforcers have already interrogated employees and female working of the mentioned hotels and disco-clubs as witnesses. All detainees have already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of providing lodging to prostitution, article 254 of the Criminal Code.
