The officers of Adjara Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a result of operative and investigative activities detained T.Kh. (DoB: 1970) and K.Kh. (DoB: 1969) on the fact of physical and verbal abuse and threat against the chairman of Tbilisi City Court.
The investigation established that the detainees on August 26, 2016 in Gonio Settlement physically and verbally assaulted; threatened to kill and damage the health of Giorgi Mikautadze, the Chairman of Tbilisi City Court.
The investigation is in progress on the fact of threat to kill or to damage the health or destroy the property of a member of the Constitutional Court, a judge, a juror or their close relatives committed in group (part III, sub-clause “a” of the part V of the Article 365 of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
