The rescuers of the Emergency Situations Management Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs rescued German and Jewish tourists in Tetnuli, Svaneti.
The Emergency Situations Management Agency received notification that 2 tourist moving in the direction of Tetnuli, Svaneti, did not contact anybody for three days. The team of rescuers of the Especial Emergency Situations Division and the helicopters of the Border Police of MIA were immediately engaged in searching and rescue operations. The rescuers ensured timely identification of whereabouts of foreign tourist and their transfer to a safe place.
This year the rescuers of the Emergency Situations Management Agency of MIA as a result of successful searching and rescue operations carried out in the mountains saved up to 30 tourists.
