The officers of Rustavi police division of Kvemo Kartli Police Department, as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained, G.G. (DoB 1979) currently on probation. The mentioned person was detained in Rustavi for domestic violence.
Investigation established that detainee, while being under the influence of alcohol, physically abused his wife A.G. (DoB 1983) and his son Sh.G. (DoB 2010) in presence of their another child. The abused spouse reported regarding the fact to police. It was established that G.G. abused his wife on a number of occasions.
Law enforcers detained G.G. in his own apartment. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of domestic violence, article 126 (1) II part, sub-paragraphs “A” “B” “C” and “E” of the Criminal Code.
