The officers of Rustavi police division of Kvemo Kartli Police Department, as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained D.J. (DoB 1979) in Rustavi for the domestic violence.
Investigation established that detainee physically assaulted his spouse D.S. (DoB 1987) who later reported to the police regarding the fact. It was also established that detainee physically assaulted D.J. several times in past.
D.J. was detained by policemen in his own apartment.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of violence perpetrated against the family member or assault committed on the regular basis, article 126 (1) I part of the Criminal Code.
