The officers of Tsalka police division of Kvemo Kartli Police Department as a result of operative-investigative activities detained S.S. (DoB 1989) in Arsarvani village, Tsalka, for the domestic violence.
Investigation established that detainee physically assaulted his pregnant spouse-J.S. (DoB 1991) who was transferred to the hospital. According to the medical conclusion the victim sustained minor brain concussion. It was also ascertained that victim had also been the subject of physical abuse in past.
Law enforcers managed to detain S.S. near to his house.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of domestic violence perpetrated on the regular basis, article 126 (1) of the Criminal Code.
