The officers of Detectives Division of Tbilisi Police Department along with the officers of Vake-Saburtalo Division as a result of the immediate operative-investigative activities detained Giorgi K. (DoB 1982) for premeditated murder.
The investigation established that on February 14, 2016 approximately at 11:30, in the vicinity of Nutsubidze Street, Tbilisi, Giorgi K. on the basis of conflict inflicted the injury in breast area with a cold steel to Irakli Gh. (DoB 1977) and fled from the scene. The victim died immediately upon his transfer to the hospital.
Law enforcers detained Giorgi K. in a few hours in Tbilisi. The detainee has already pleaded guilty.
The investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder (Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
