The officers of Isani-Samgori police division and Tbilisi Police Division as a result of jointly held operative-searching and investigative activities detained Varlam Ch. (DoB 1984) in Tbilisi for premeditated murder.
Investigation established that on June 17 Varlam Ch. inflicted serious health injuries with a blunt object to Gela A. (DoB 1969) on the basis of conflict and fled from the place of crime. Due to the received injuries the victim died at the place of incident.
Law enforcers managed to detain Varlam Ch. the next day. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder, article 108 of the Criminal Code.
