The officers of Marneuli police division of Kvemo Kartli Regional Main Division as a result of immediate operative-investigative activities detained Nabi M. (DoB 1988) in Kizilajlo village, Marneuli for premeditated murder.
Investigation established that earlier today the detainee lethally wounded his co-villager Roman G. (DoB 1988) with three shots from the shotgun on the basis of jealousy. Due to the received wound in head area Roman G. died at the place of crime.
Law enforcers detained Nabi G. at the palce of crime several minutes later after the incident occured. The weapon of murder – double-barreled shotgun was seized as evidence.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder, article 108 of the Criminal Code.
