The officers of Kakheti Police Department, Telavi Regional Division and Patrol Police Department of Kakheti Main Division of the MIA as a result of jointly conducted operative-searching and investigative activities detained previously multiply convicted K.Kh. (DoB: 1980), O.S. (DoB: 1993) and A.M. (DoB: 1993) for theft.
The investigation established that the detainees in August of the current year, with a prior agreement, damaged and robbed fast pay box machines in Telavi and Gurjaani.
As a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, all three individuals were detained in Vaziani-Telavi-Gombori highway. During the search of a vehicle the law enforcers seized stolen 1 154 GEL and weapons of a crime as material evidences.
The investigation is in progress on the fact of theft with a prior agreement by a group (part III, sub-clause “a” of the Article 177 of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
