The officers of Gldani-Nadzaladevi police division as a result of operative-searching activities detained Zurab G. (DoB 1987) and Giorgi K. (DoB 1988) for armed robbery.
Investigation established that on 7-8 March, 2015 detainees assaulted currency exchange booths and gas stations located in various districts of the capital, including “Vissoli” “Gama Gazi” “Rompetrol” and Socar” gas stations. Under the pressure of the firearm and cold steel detainees appropriated various amounts of sums and fled from the places of crime.
As a result of immediate operative activities detainees were detained in Tbilisi. During the personal and searching activities held in their apartments police seized firearm and a cold steel.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of armed robbery, article 179 of the Criminal Code.
