The officers of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti regional division of theCcentral Criminal Police Department as a result of operative-investigative activities detained Abesalom K. (DoB 1966) in Batumi for illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities.
During the personal search police seized various types of narcotics in particular: 18,45688 gr of heroine containing substance wrapped in 3 packegs, 9 pills and 3 pieces of methadone weighing 4,319 gr, 1 pills of “suboxin drug containing 0,008 gr of buprenorphine and 0,06662 gr of the drug substance containing 0,17977 gr of methamphetamine.
Drug test revealed that Abesalom K. was drug addicted person. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of for illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities, article 260, VI part, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code.
