The officers of Central Criminal Police Department as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained Bondo Ts. at Tbilisi International Airport for illegal purchase, keeping and smuggling of drugs in especially large quantities.
During the personal search of the detainee law enforcers seized 157 pills ad 8 pieces of “subutex” which according to expertise contains 1,28 gr of buprenorphine. Investigation established that detainee smuggled the mentioned drugs from Israel. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase, keeping and smuggling of drugs, article 260, II part, sub-paragraph A and article 262, IV part, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code.
