The officers of Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Regional Main Division as a result of operative-investigative activities detained Gocha Ts. (DoB 1970) in Kutaisi for illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large amounts.
During the personal search held to the detainee, policemen seized 5, 5179gr of drug which according to expertise contains 1,887gr of heroin.
Drug test revealed that Gocha Ts. was under the influence of heroin in the moment of detention.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large amounts, article 260, III part, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code.
