The officers of Kutaisi division of Imereti Regional Main Division as a result of operative-investigative activities detained Vepkhia M. (DoB 1968) in Kutaisi for illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities.
During the personal search law enforcers seized 35 packages of drug. According to the results of expertise law enforcers seized 2,387gr of drug substance, containing 1,45607 gr of heroin.
It was also established that detainee was under the influence of drugs in the moment of his detention.
Vepkhia M. has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities, article 260, III part, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code.
