Representatives of Public Relations and Emergency Management Departments, with the support of European Union successfully completed conference and simulated training organized under the auspices of PPRD East program. Participants of the conference were awarded with certificates and special prizes.
During the conference representatives of emergency services of Georgia and EU countries elaborated joint rescue operations plan during large-scale catastrophes and discussed mechanisms of humanitarian-technical support, as well as action plan for international media and ways of co-operation between press services from various countries.
During the simulated training participants drafted joint action plan during international emergency situations and elaborated strategy for partner countries. The mentioned plan will ensure effective implementation of rescue and humanitarian operations within the frames of East Partnership program.
