The officers of Ajara police department as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained Turkish citizen Ozgur K. (DoB 1979) for illegal purchase, selling and keeping of new psychotropic substance, while Georgian citizen Besik J. (DoB 1982) was detained in Batumi for illegal purchase and keeping of new psychotropic substance.
During the personal search of Besik J. policemen seized 0,716 gr of the so called bio drug. It was established that Besik J. purchased the mentioned drug from Ozgur K. while searching Ozgur K’s vehicle policemen seized 98 gr of bio drug which was detected in a special cache. Drug test revealed that Ozgur K. was drug addicted person. Both of them have pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress against Ozgur K. on the fact of illegal purchase, selling and keeping of new psychotropic substance, article 260 II and IV parts, while investigation against Besik J. is in progress on the fact of for illegal purchase and keeping of new psychotropic substance, article 260, II part of the Criminal Code.
