The officers of the Vake-Saburtalo division of Tbilisi Police Department as a result of the operative-searching and investigative activities detained Dimitri G. (DoB 1990) for robbery.
Investigation established that the detainee along with his accomplice committed robbery of the Express Bank in Chavchavadze avenue, Tbilisi, appropriated 17 000 GEL under the threat and fled from the scene.
Law enforcers managed to detain Dimitri G. in Tbilisi. Police seized the part of the amount robbed from the bank as evidence.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of the robbery (article 179, Criminal Code of Georgia).
