Mr. Besik Amiranashvili, the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs has the first working visit to the Hellenic Republic with Mr. Davit Natriashvili, Director of the Central Criminal Police Department and the delegation of the MIA.
Mr. Besik Amiranashvili met his Greek colleague lieutenant General Mr. Κonstantinos Tsouvalas, the Head of the Greek Police.
The parties discussed the situation regarding the two countries’ cooperation in combat organized and transnational crime and its result and agreed for further deepening of bilateral cooperation and sharing experience. The Head of the Greek Police stressed on the high level cooperation with Georgian party.
At the meeting the delegation of the MIA of Georgia and the Greek law enforcers talked about the necessity of conclusion of the agreement for combat crime, which is expected to be signed in the near future. This agreement will further strengthen and create a good legal basis for cooperation between the Georgian and Greek polices.
The working groups held the meeting on the issues of combat organized crimes within the scopes of the visit of Georgian delegation to Greece as well.
