The officers of Anti-corruption Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained employees of “Georgian Water and Powers” Temur Cherkezishvili (DoB 1978) and Mamuka Tsereteli (DoB 1979) for commercial bribery committed in group.
Investigation established that detainees offered foreign citizens and owners of “Alrashid” hotel to reduce the price for water waste by means of manipulations on the water counter. The detainees demanded 1100 GEL for the mentioned favor.
Investigation is in progress of the fact of commercial bribery committed in group, article 221, IV part, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code. Investigation is conducted by Anti-corruption Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
