The officers of Batumi Main Division of Adjara A/R Police Department of the MIA as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained Giorgi D. (Dob 1970) in Batumi for illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in large quantities.
During the personal search of the detainee law enforcers seized 19,096 gr of heroin and 0,45 gr of methadone salt.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in large quantities (article 260, I part and III part, sub-paragraph “a” of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
