The officers of Imereti,Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Regional Main Division of MIA as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained Rati R. (Dob 1989) for illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in large quantities.
During the personal search of the detainee law enforcers seized 8 pills of “suboxin” which according to expertise contains buprenorphine. Drug test revealed that Rati R. was under the influence of buprenorphine in the moment of his detention.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs, article 260, II part, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code.
