The officers of the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti police department as a result of the operative-searching and investigative activities detained previously convicted Guram M. (DoB 1979) for the drug related crime.
During the personal search of the detainee law enforcers seized 5 packages of the drug substance which contains heroin. Drug test revealed that detainee was addicted to drugs. Guram M. has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of the illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in large quantities, article 260, III part, sub-clause A of the Criminal Code.
