The officers of Kobuleti division of Ajara Regional Main Division as a result of investigative activities held on the basis of operative information detained Giorgi T. (DoB 1952) for illegal keeping and carrying of firearms.
During the searching activities held in detainee’s house and warehouse located in the village of Zeda Kvirike law enforcers seized: 2 Kalashnikov automatic weapon with two cartridges, “Geko” type rifle and one pistol. Police also detected 155 various bullets.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal keeping and purchase of firearms, article 236, I part of the Criminal Code.
