The officers of Batumi police division of Adjara police department as a result of investigative activities held on the basis of the operative information detained I.P. (DoB 1976) and R.B. (DoB 1975) in Batumi for illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in large and especially large quantities.
During the personal search of I.P. law enforcers seized 20 pills of suboxin and 17 pills of methadone drug as well as one package of heroin. Personal search of R.B. showed that he had been carrying one package of heroin and one pill of suboxin.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in large and especially large quantities, article 260, I and III parts, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code.
