The delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan headed by the Deputy Minister, Azizbek Ikramov, paid a working visit to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
Within the framework of the three-days visit, the members of the delegation held meetings with the heads of the Information-Analytical Department and the Department of Human Resources Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Gerogia.
During the meetings, parties discussed the importance of the existing relations and future prospects between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of two countries. The guests emphasized the importance of the information and experience shared by the Georgian side.
The members of the official delegation of Uzbekistan also visited the Patrol Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, the Unified Service Center, the Service Agency, the Public Safety Command Center “112“, the MIA Academy and one of the structural unit of the Tbilisi Police Department. During the meetings, the guests got acquainted with the specifics of the work of the units of the Ministry on the spot and received information from the managers regarding the reforms implemented within the Ministry.
Within the framework of the visit, first meeting of the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Azizbek Ikramov, was held the with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Vakhtang Gomelauri.
The purpose of visit was to get acquainted with the reforms and sharing the best practices implemented within the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
At the end of the visit, the head of the delegation thanked the Georgian side for sharing the experience and invited the delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia to pay a corresponding visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan.
