Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were thanked by the General Manager “BP Georgia” Chris Shlitter for outstanding performance of duties in providing security of the strategic pipelines and special contribution made in forming relations with public sector. Chris Shlitter awarded 74 employees of MIA Department for the Protection of the Strategic Pipelines, Special Tasks Department and Shida Kartli Police Department with certificates of appreciation.
The awarding ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Merab Malania, Director of the Department for the Protection of the Strategic Pipelines Zurab Tchabashvili and Director of Special Tasks Department Mindia Lortkipanidze.
Ministry of Internal Affairs cooperates with “British Petrolium” and provides security of the pipelines located on the territory of Georgia.
