Investigative agencies of Georgia unite all structural units of the Ministries of Georgia, which conduct investigation of the criminal cases according to their jurisdiction, in particular: the General Prosecutor’s Office, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Corrections and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

In October 2015, 3486 crime cases have been registered out of which 1565 cases were solved. Case-solving index is 44,89%. In comparison with the results of the same period of the last year, the number of crime increased by +0,72%.

In October 2015, 2237 crime cases were registered by MIA territorial units according to their investigation jurisdiction, out of which 1358 cases were solved; case-solving index is 60,71%. In comparison with the results of the same period of the previous year the number of crime decreased by -2,01%.

January-October 2015 All investigative agencies throughout the country In the period between January-September 2015 all the investigative agencies throughout Georgia registered 29500 crimes, 15245 cases are solved. The index of the solved cases is 57.63%. In comparison with the results of the same period of the previous year the number of crime decreased by -3,89%.

According to investigation jurisdiction of MIA territorial units August 2015 In the period between January-October 2015 MIA territorial units registered 20918 criminal cases according to their investigation jurisdictions, 14136 cases had been solved. The index of the solved cases is 67.58%. In comparison with the results of the same period of the previous year the number of crime decreased by -5.29%.
