The Chairman of the lower house of the Parliament of Ireland – Sean O Fearghail, paying an official visit to Georgia along with the delegation visited the Service Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The guests at the Service Agency were hosted by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Giorgi Butkhuzi , the Director of the Service Agency - Besik Tepnadze and other heads of the Agency.
The parties discussed the issues related to the agreement on mutual recognition of driving licenses between Georgia and Ireland and underlined the importance of further deepening bilateral relations. The guests were provided with detailed information about the categories and the procedure for issuing Georgian driving licenses.
Within the visit the members of the delegation got acquainted with the specifics of the work of the Service Agency on the spot, as well as the services that the Agency offers to the citizens.
At the end of the meeting the parties expressed readiness to actively continue cooperation in different directions.
