Within the framework of the campaign of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - "Befriend the Police", cognitive and entertainment activities are taking place in Gori city center, in Shadrevani Square.
During the day, the public event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs - Aleksandre Darakhvelidze, the heads of various units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Governor of Shida Kartli region - Mikheil Shakulashvili, as well as the Mayor of Gori - Vladimer Khinchegashvili.
The guests who came to the event got acquainted with the activities of different departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. They had the opportunity to inspect the special equipment and machinery of the patrol police, public safety command center "112", service agency, forensic-criminalistics department, border police, emergency situations management service, security police and special tasks department.
Juveniles, together with representatives of the Ministry, took part in various cognitive and entertainment activities.
As part of the campaign, the visits of the representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs units to schools also continue. Information-cognitive meetings are held with students, the purpose of which is to raise awareness among children and adolescents about public safety and the rule of law.
