In order to strengthen the infrastructural and structural units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as to increase citizens' accessibility to police services, a unified service center of the patrol police department was opened in the town of Gori in Shida Kartli region.
Director of the Patrol Police Department, Vazha Siradze, opened the center together with his deputies. The opening of the center was also attended by the governor of Shida Kartli region - Mikheil Shakulashvili and the mayor of Gori - Vladimir Khinchegashvili.
Beginning from today, residents of Shida Kartli will receive up to 50 police services in one space, on the basis of "single window" principle, including: cancellation of the decree on suspension of the right to drive vehicle or replace it with a fine, returning of a found license plate, consent to the removal of a vehicle that has been moved to a special parking lot, and etc.
The contemporary police service center of the Patrol Police Department is equipped with visitor queue management system, electronic signature and information technology systems, as well as a system for receiving applications in electronic form, which eliminates the previously established practice of manually filling out applications and complaints. The building is also adapted for people with disabilities.
The unified service center of the Patrol Police Department will gradually be opened in other cities as well.
