Today Minister of Internal Affairs Giorgi Mgebrishvili held special press briefing during which he stated that: “Several minutes ago I signed the order according to which top secret order issued in 2009 and all special permits issued on the bases of the mentioned order shall be declared invalid.
Therefore, under my instructions the owners will be deprived of the special permits and destroyed.
New top secret order will be enacted in a few days and regulate the issuance of the special permits as well as their use, control and, if necessary, the procedure for confiscation. Regulations will become stricter and effective monitoring system will be established”.
