Ministry of Interal Affairs would like to note that statements recently made by the “United National Movement” political party are completly false. Such statements discredit the Ministry of Internal Affairs and aimed at misleading the society. Ministry of Internal Affairs continues to fight against the so called “Criminal world” which can be confirmed by those activities which are held in this direction.
In the period of the new government, namely in November-December of 2012 MIA arrested two the so called “criminal authorities” who had influence in the “criminal world” and were linked to other authorities abroad. Ministry is also searching for one “criminal authoritu” at the moment.
In 2013 Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested 70 individuals for membership of the “thieves’ world” and detained 25 more person in six months of the current year. it is notable that in the period of previous government, namely in 2011 only 10 members of the “thieves’ world” were detained and no “criminal authority” was taken under custody.
