As a result of operational measures and investigative actions conducted at different times, officers of Vake-Saburtalo, Didube-Chughureti and Gldani-Nadzaladevi Police Divisions of Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested 3 persons on drug-related charges.
The following persons have been arrested on charges of illegal purchase and storage of narcotic drugs in a large amount, attempted illegal sale and illegal cultivation of a large amount of a plant containing narcotic drugs: foreign citizen N.S., born in 2005, previously convicted V.S., born in 1996, and O.O., born in 1975.
The committed crime envisions up to 20 years or life imprisonment.
As a result of the personal search of the detainees and search activities held in their residential apartments, as well as from the location indicated by them, law enforcement officers seized a large and especially large amount of various types of narcotic drugs as evidence, including: "mephedrone", "buprenorphine", "dried marijuana" and "plant cannabis".
The investigation is underway under Articles 260, 19-260 (3), 265 and 273 (1) of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
