Employees of the General Inspection under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of the operational-investigative actions conducted on the basis of the Court decision, detained the employee of Service Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - B.K for bribery.
The committed crime envisions from 6 to 9 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that the accused person accepted a certain amount of cash in the form of a bribe in exchange for issuing inspection protocol for a vehicle modified by the citizen, so that the registration of the mentioned vehicle at the Service Agency would take place without any obstacles.
The investigation into the fact of accepting bribe is being conducted under Article 338, I part of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
