Employees of Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Police Departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operational measures and investigative actions, detained G.K (DoB1996) for premeditated murder.
The committed crime envisions from 10 to 15 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that on December 17 of the current year, in the municipality of Khoni, the accused person inflicted 2 wounds with a cold weapon to G.C. (DoB 1989) and fled from the crime scene.
As a result of received injuries G.C. died on the spot.
In the course of immediate operational measures and investigative activities carried out by the police, the person who committed the crime was arrested few hours after the incident.
The law enforcement officers seized the weapon of crime as evidence.
The investigation is being conducted under Article 108 of the Criminal Code, which implies premeditated murder.
