Considering high public interest, we would like to clarify that there is no inconsistency between the official statement released by the Prosecutor’s Office and comment made by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs- Shalva Khutsishvili. In both cases it was emphasized that full video file depicting events that developed on Nutusbidze Slope, on October 25, does not exist and that investigation was only provided with video footage partially depicting the events.
Shalva Khutsishvili clarified that Ministry of Internal Affairs handed over all video records available to the prosecutor’s office. As it was stated by Shalva Khutsishvili, video record depicted the events after Pavle P. became indisposed, however the moment of his detention has not been recorded. It is notable that Prosecutor’s office released the statement with exactly the same content.
Within the frames of investigation, Ministry of Internal Affairs closely co-operates with the Prosecutor’s Office. Ministry of Internal Affairs is interested in establishing objective truth on the case.
