The officers of Gldani-Nadzaladevi Police Division under Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of immediate operative-investigative activities detained two persons in Tbilisi- Sh. L. (Dob 1983) for causing minor health damage on purpose and V.Sh. (DoB 1984) for violence.
Committed crime envisages up to 3 years of imprisonment.
Investigation established that, on the basis of conflict that took place in one of the squares located on Tsotne Dadiani Street, Sh.L. inflicted two minor injuries with a cold steel to Iranian citizen V.R. (DoB 1987) and fled from the place of crime. The wounded person was transferred to the hospital; at this moment his condition is stable.
Law enforcers detained Sh.L. several hours later after the crime took place. He has already pleaded guilty. The weapon of crime, knife was seized by police as evidence.
Investigation established that, during the same incident, person accompanying Sh.L. – V.Sh. also inflicted injury with a blunt object to Iranian citizen accompanying V.R.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of violence and minor health damage committed on purpose, article 126 and 120 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
