The officers of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Police Department and Mestia Regional Division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of jointly conducted immediate operative-searching and investigative activities on the fact of premeditated murder detained K.Ch. (DoB: 1995). The crime committed by him envisages imprisonment from 7 to 15 years in length.
The investigation established that the detainee on June 2 of the current year in the village Latali, Mestia region, as a result of a conflict lethally injured with a cold arm L.S. (DoB: 1989), inflicted injuries to K.T. (DoB: 1987) and managed to escape from the scene. K. T. was taken to the hospital, his life is not in danger.
Law enforcers, as a result of intensive investigative activities detained K.Ch. in several hours after the incident. The crime weapon was seized as material evidence.
The investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder (Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
