The officers of Adjara Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative-investigative activities, on the fact of attempted premediated murder detained G.Ch. (DoB: 1992). The crime committed by him envisages imprisonment from 7 to 15 years in length.
The investigation established that on May 27 of the current year in the elevator of the residential building in Batumi the detainee inflicted multiple injuries with a cold arm to I.A. (DoB: 1985) and managed to escape from the scene. The wounded was taken to the hospital where the medical treatment continues until now. The law enforcers detained G.Ch. in the territory of one of the hotels in Batumi.
The investigation is in progress on the fact of attempted premeditated murder (Article 19-108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
