The employees of Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operational measures and investigative actions detained G.S. (DoB 1987) for premeditated murder.
The committed crime envisions from 10 to 15 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that the accused person inflicted several body wounds of a fellow villager - O.G. (DoB 1960) on the basis of conflict, in the forest located in Ambrolauri municipality, using a cold steel, and abandoned the place of crime. The wounded man died on the spot.
Law enforcement officers, as a result of operational search measures and investigative actions detained G.S. in the village of Chrebalo, Racha region.
The investigation into the fact of premeditated murder is in progress under Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
