The officers of Tbilisi Police Department, as a result of immediate operative-searching and investigative activities detained G.B. (DoB 2001) for premeditated murder.
Investigation established that on December 1 of the current year the argument between juveniles evolved into the physical confrontation that took place in one of the yards located on Khorava Street, Tbilisi. During the confrontation G.B. inflicted multiple body injuries to L.D. and fled from the place of crime. Due to the injuries the victim died before he was transferred to the hospital.
Law enforcers managed to detain G.B. several hours later after the crime, as a result of immediate activities. The weapon of crime was seized by policemen as evidence. As for the fact of wounding a minor D.S. – he died at the hospital today. Person, who is thought to be responsible for murder, has been identified. Operative-searching and investigative activities are being held at the moment to detain him.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of murder committed under aggravating circumstances, article 109 of the Criminal Code.
