The Ministry of Internal Affairs has announced a painting competition to raise public awareness on the negative consequences of child marriage within the frames of “Do Not Deprive Childhood” campaign, in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) local office and with the financial support of the Swedish Government.
Terms and conditions of participation in the painting competition:
The aim of the competition is to raise public awareness on the topic of the negative consequences of child marriage.
• Anyone interested, from 12 to 18 years, is eligible to participate in the competition;
• Submitted materials should reflect the content to the competition;
• In the sent letter it is necessary to indicate your name, surname, mobile phone number, e-mail address, the title of the painting and its brief description;
• After the deadline of the competition, jury members will identify three best entries that will be awarded with a prize;
• Materials that are inconsistent with the topic and the conditions, obscene, discriminatory, works depicting violence, as well as works that do not comply with general moral and ethical principles, will not be accepted;
• Each contestant has the right to submit only one painting;
• The technique and size of a painting is not limited (work created on an electronic device is not accepted);
• The participant must submit his / her painting, the painting found in Internet will not be eligible for the competition;
• The copyright on the submitted artwork must belong to the contestant. The Ministry is not liable to third parties who may make any claims (related to property, non-property, copyright and related rights) regarding the published painting;
• The contestant, by participating in the contest, agrees to be iinvolved in all events and campaigns related to this project;
• The contestant, by participating in the contest, expresses his / her consent and gives the Ministry the right to use the painting submitted by him / her at his / her own discretion;
• We inform you that by submitting a competition entry, the contestant automatically agrees to the terms of the competition;
• Artworks will be accepted until June 25, 2022.

The participants of the competition will be evaluated according to the following criteria:
How well the work responds to the topic of the competition;
. How original and creative the art work is.
All three winners of the competition will be awarded with certificates and prizes.

Please send the scanned pictures to the e-mail - adamianisuflebebi@mia.gov.ge. It is also possible to send the art works by mail to the following address: Tbilisi, Ortachala, G. Gulua Street №10 (Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia; Human Rights Protection and Quality Investigation Monitoring Department). In case of sending by mail, the art works must be submitted no later than June 25, 2022.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs reserves the right, if necessary, to request the submission of the original version of the painting.
