According to the initial information the ski lift in Gudauri resort broke down and began reverse motion, as it is known, about 10 citizens are injured.
The ski patrols of the Ministry of Internal Affairs immediately came to the scene and along with the officers of the rescue service staff provided assistance to the injured people and transferred them to the hospital. 7 citizens with different type of injuries have been transferred to outpatient clinics and medical institutions.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched investigation under the Article 275 of the Criminal Code of Georgia (Violation of Safety or Maintenance Rule in Driving of Railway, Sea or Suspended Cable Transport).
